All visitors are required to follow the safety rules for climbing.
Visitors must adhere to the operating rules of BigWall Climbing Gym.
Parents are responsible for their children at all times while at the gym.
Safe Space and Landing Area
Do not leave any objects in the landing area (on the mats) that could cause injury if a climber falls.
If you're not climbing, do not stay in the landing area beneath a climber. The only exception is spotting (supporting a climber during a fall).
Only one climber may be on a boulder problem at a time.
Appropriate Equipment and Behavior
Climbing is only permitted in climbing shoes (rock shoes).
Do not carry unnecessary equipment while climbing on the bouldering wall (e.g., harness, carabiners, etc.). Remove jewelry, and long hair should be tied back.
Movement on the Wall
Climb only on holds and structures. Climbing on areas not intended for climbing is prohibited.
Children and Supervision
The bouldering wall is not a playground!!!
Do not let children run around or climb unsupervised. If a climber falls on a child, serious injury to both parties can occur.
Minors may only climb under the supervision of an adult who assumes responsibility for them.
