Instruction in climbing and bouldering courses is divided into two semesters, i.e., September – January and February – June, following the school year schedule. Courses do not take place during holidays and public holidays.

You can reserve a place in a course via email: krouzky@big-wall.cz. Since the 2019/2020 season, course registration is done exclusively online through our registration system: www.bwportal.cz.

A child can be enrolled in a course no later than 1 week before the first lesson. This is the only way we can ensure functional cards required for course participants' entry and a sufficient number of instructors for the first lesson.

Anyone who arrives at the first lesson without a valid reservation in the selected course will not be able to participate in the lesson. A reservation is only valid if confirmed by us via email.

Payment for the course can only be made by bank transfer.

Course participants receive a chip card required for turnstile entry free of charge. In case of loss or forgetting the card, a new card must be purchased for 40 CZK.

Enrollment in a course during the semester is possible by arrangement; in this case, please contact us via email: krouzky@big-wall.cz

In January, parents will receive an email with information about the second semester, especially the deadline for confirming children's participation in courses for the second semester and payment information for the second semester.

If a parent does not confirm by email within the deadline their interest in continuing the course attendance and does not pay the course fee on time, the child will not be counted for the second semester.

The second semester begins on February 1st. For the course, a child needs sportswear, climbing shoes, and a harness for rope climbing. We will provide other necessary climbing equipment during the course.

Selection of suitable shoes and harness can be discussed with the instructor.

Children should arrive at the course with adequate time reserve (15-20 minutes) to allow them to change clothes.

The instructor is authorized to exclude a child from an ongoing lesson for safety reasons, and in extreme cases from the course entirely, if the child is repeatedly undisciplined and uncooperative. Compensation of the course fee in case of exclusion from the course is possible by arrangement.

Parents may not interfere with the course of climbing lessons; consultations with instructors are possible after the lesson ends. The seating and refreshment area for parents and persons accompanying children is outside the paid zone in the front part of the reception area.
15.
For safety reasons, it is essential that all children leave the climbing wall hall area immediately after each lesson ends, as announced by the instructor. The wall operator and none of the instructors are responsible for injuries resulting from failure to comply with this rule.
16.
Making up individual absences is not possible. In case of long-term absence due to health reasons, this must be reported as soon as possible by email (krouzky@big-wall.cz) and the situation will be handled individually.
17.
If the course operator cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at the earliest possible date.
