SAFETY RULES ON THE ROPE WALL:
- All visitors follow the principles of safe climbing. The visitor is required to tie into the belay rope before climbing, using a knot according to UIAA standards - the figure-eight follow-through knot. It is prohibited to tie into the rope using a carabiner and a daisy chain. Tying into the rope using two carabiners with gates opposing each other is only permitted when climbing on top rope.
- Climbers belay safely while climbing. Solo climbing is strictly prohibited. Bouldering, i.e., solo climbing without being tied to a rope, is only permitted by the operator on the bouldering wall, under which crash pads are installed.
- Climbing is only permitted in climbing shoes.
- It is prohibited to skip protection points while climbing; the visitor is required to clip the protection point no later than when it is at waist level.
- Belaying is not recommended where there is a large weight difference between the belayer and the climber. In the event of a fall by a heavier climber, there is a risk of injury to either the belayer or the climber themselves.
- It is prohibited to use a rope shorter than 50 m. The free end of the rope must be secured with a knot.
- It is prohibited to deviate from the line of the chosen route during ascent if it would in any way restrict other climbing participants on the wall. Simultaneous climbing by two or more climbers on one climbing line is prohibited. It is strictly prohibited to belay two climbers simultaneously in the same quickdraw or anchor carabiner.
- The second climber is required to climb on the rope that is run through the protection points, which they must unclip during climbing, and finish the ascent at a point where they will be protected by at least two protection points or by two properly clipped anchor carabiners.
- The belayer is required to pay continuous attention to belaying throughout the entire ascent and descent (lowering) of the belayed person, is required to pay out or take in rope in such a way as to minimize the length of any potential fall by the belayed person, and is required to arrest the fall of the belayed person so that the lead climber, other visitors, or third parties are not injured, or so that the wall, protection points, or other climbing equipment are not damaged.
- While belaying, it is prohibited to sit or lie down, or engage in any other activities, especially phone calls, eating and drinking, etc.
- It is prohibited to take in slack at belay stations, practice building anchors, etc. Lowering the belayed person must proceed smoothly and in such a way that other visitors or persons moving in the wall area are not endangered.
- Excessively long falls for "effect" are not permitted.
- It is prohibited to remain in the area under the wall unless you are currently climbing or belaying another person.
- It is prohibited to modify existing routes. The climber shall notify the wall staff of loose holds or other technical defects on the wall, or use the information board designated for this purpose.
- Every visitor is required to behave in such a way as not to endanger or restrict other visitors; in the event of an injury, they are required to provide first aid to the injured person and immediately call a doctor or staff who will call them.
- The staff has a first aid kit available for providing first aid and is required to record any injury in the injury log, including noting the details of any witnesses to the injury.
- Every visitor who discovers a violation of safe climbing principles on the wall is required to warn the person who committed this act of the obligation to follow safety rules; if this warning does not lead to correction, they are required to notify the staff of this behavior.
- Parents are responsible for their children throughout the entire visit to the climbing wall.
SAFETY RULES - BOULDERING WALL:
- The bouldering wall is not a playground! Do not let your children run around and climb on the wall unsupervised. If a climber falls on a child, there is a risk of serious injury to both parties!
